Father, daughter killed after car collides with truck in Lindenhurst

LINDENHURST, Ill. (WLS) -- A father and daughter were killed Saturday in a crash in far north suburban Lake County.

Christopher Winiewicz, 50, and his 15-year-old daughter, Haylie, were killed when their car collided with a pickup truck at an intersection in Lindenhurst.

Three other people were also hurt in the crash.

Police say Winiewicz was trying to make a left-hand turn when his car collided with the truck.
