Fire breaks out at Lake Shore Drive high-rise

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Firefighters battled a blaze at a high-rise located at 3130 North Lake Shore Drive Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the building. The Chicago Fire Department called for an EMS Plan 1 response, which sent five ambulances to the scene.

The flames were extinguished by around 8:30 a.m. Authorities have not yet released information about injuries.
