CHICAGO (WLS) -- A federal judge has ruled in a class action lawsuit that former Dominick's employees are entitle to back pay for due overtime.

Parent company Safeway is ordered to pay 102 former Dominick's managers a total of $1.7 million dollars starting next week.

Lawyers for those employees say Dominick's made the employees work off the clock, which resulted in the company reaping bigger profits.
