Funeral held for 16-year-old killed in Roseland

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A funeral was held Saturday in Chicago for 16-year-old Andre Taylor, whose family said his future was bright before it was cut short.

Taylor was walking near his home in the Roseland neighborhood last weekend when he was shot and killed.

He was a model student and his classmates call him a great friend.

People gathered at a church on the Southeast Side to lay Taylor to rest.
