GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- The funerals for two women believed to be victims of suspected serial killer Darren Vann are scheduled for this weekend.

Services for 19-year-old Afrika Hardy will be in East Chicago, Ind. Her family says she had gone through rough times, but was starting to turn her life around when she was killed at a hotel in Hammond, Ind. Vann has been charged with her murder.

The funeral for Kristine Williams, 36, will be in Knox, Ind. Vann has not been formally charged with her murder.

Vann, who has confessed to killing seven women, led investigators to the bodies of most of his victims in abandoned homes in Gary. He admits to killing women in other states dating back years.

Police are continuing to investigate as Vann could face the death penalty.
