EVANSTON, Ill (WLS) -- Restrooms in Evanston have symbols for a man and woman, but soon there will be a symbol that shows a mix of both sexes.
The new gender-neutral sign will denote that the bathroom is open to transgender people.
The signs will hang outside of single-occupancy bathrooms at city-owned buildings and parks.
