Taylor Woods, 9, makes plea to Obama about Chicago violence

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A young girl from the South Side of Chicago is trying to get the attention of President Obama through a letter.

"I am tired hearing about children being killed. Sometimes I worry about someone coming to my school and start shooting. This has to stop," said Taylor Woods, 9.

Her letter is addressed to the President and First Lady. She is upset about all the violence on the streets of Chicago, and says she fears for her family's safety.
