Honorary street named for former Cook County Sheriff Richard Elrod

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An honorary street sign was put up Wednesday afternoon for former Cook County Sheriff and Cook County Judge Richard Elrod.

He passed away last year.

Many prominent politicians and judges were on-hand for the ceremony.

The sign is located on Madison near Dearborn.
