HOUSTON -- A Houston woman is going viral after going under the knife to look like her favorite celebrity.

Meet Kitty Jay. The 30 year old recently underwent seven surgeries and spent $25,000 to more closely resemble Jennifer Lawrence.

"The procedures I had were rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, fat grafts to my cheekbones with liposuction to my chin, liposuction to my hips and thighs, and a Brazilian butt lift," she said.

Dr. Franklin Rose performed Kitty's procedures and says he gets celebrity requests all the time.

"Our patient Kitty did have quite a bit of resemblance preoperatively, so I think she was just trying to transition a little more in terms of her overall appearance," Rose said.

While Rose says he often turns away potential patients if they have unreasonable expectations, he also performs hundreds of surgeries a year for people trying to capture a certain Hollywood look.

"Lips, for example, Angelina Jolie. In terms of breasts you would have to say Scarlett Johannsen, although there's many starlets who have had breast augmentation, Megan Fox for example. In terms of buttocks, of course Kim Kardashian, and for nose, I still use Princess Grace, Grace Kelly," Rose said.

Psychologist Nanine Ewing says there is a danger in trying to replicate a celebrity's look.

"We get so far from trying to reach something outside of ourself that we're not reaching within ourself," Ewing said. "People are obsessed with being a movie star, rather than being more of who their star is within them."

Kitty is a member of a band called The Plastics with several other people who have gone under the knife to look like their A-lister idols. Kitty says now she has found her inner star.

"I didn't have low self-confidence or low self-esteem, I felt I was attractive, I just felt it could be even better," she said.
