Illinois National Guard members get sendoff before Kuwait deployment

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Before being deployed to Kuwait, 25 Illinois National Guard members got a big sendoff.

The men and women are part of the Illinois National Guard Aviation Unit. Before heading to Kuwait, they'll train at Fort Hood in Texas.

They'll spend six months overseas on a medical evacuation mission.
