Incarcerated dads get visit from family ahead of Father's Day

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Children and their mothers boarded a bus Saturday to visit some incarcerated dads at Sheridan Correctional Center for an early Father's Day celebration.

Congressman Danny Davis hosted Saturday's special event.

"Children get a chance to visit with their fathers," Davis said. "We all get a chance to talk about Father's Day and fatherhood."

A coalition of community organizations also helped host the "Love For Our Fathers" event.
