Ind. coroner arrested for allegedly dealing pain drugs

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. (WLS) -- A coroner in La Porte County, Indiana, is being accused of dealing drugs.

Dawn Maxson was arrested Thursday following an investigation by the sheriff's office and Indiana State Police.

The 47-year-old was arrested after reportedly selling the narcotic hydromorphone, a morphine used for pain.
