NEW YORK (WLS) -- A rare piece of presidential history earned really big bucks at auction Wednesday in New York.

An anonymous bidder paid $2.2 million for a manuscript hand-written by President Abraham Lincoln. It includes the final passage of the president's second inaugural address.

The piece was owned by the family of Lincoln's Secretary of the Interior until Wednesday.
