CHICAGO (WLS) -- The FBI has taken a suspect into custody in connection with a Loop bank robbery that temporarily halted CTA Red Line trains, officials said.

The robbery was reported at the Belmont Bank and Trust in the 100-block of W. Wacker early Friday afternoon, officials said.

Red Line trains were temporarily halted at Loop-area stations and power was cut on the tracks, CTA officials said. Trains have now resumed normal service with some residual delays.

Police have not released other details.
