Lucky Cordell, longtime radio personality, dies at 86

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Longtime radio personality Lucky Cordell has died.

Cordell, 86, died Tuesday at University of Chicago Hospital, according to medical examiner's officials. An autopsy will be conducted Thursday.

Cordell and his daughter got trapped in the fire late last month, and both suffered burns. His daughter is still in the hospital.

Investigators said the fire was caused by careless smoking.
