Man, 24, critically wounded in Back of the Yards shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 24-year-old man was critically wounded after being shot in the city's Back of the Yards neighborhood, police said.

The man, who is a documented gang member, was shot in the stomach in the 4800-block of South Winchester Wednesday afternoon, police said.

He was hospitalized in critical condition. Police have not released any other details.
