Man covers SUV with thousands of pennies

RANDOLPH CO., N,C. -- Larry Hall covered his white 2000 Chevy Blazer with 51,300 pennies.

The Randolph County man says he spent seven weeks gluing each penny on, one by one.

It took 80 tubes of silicone glue and three gallons of fiberglass boat glue.

The pennies added several hundred pounds of weight, making the hood especially heavy to lift.

But Hall believes the unique ride makes perfect sense.
