Man exposed self while trying to lure female students to car, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police say a man allegedly exposed himself while trying to lure multiple female high school students walking to school in the city's South Side.

In two separate incidents, the students were walking on 47th Street when they allegedly observed the man sitting in a black four-door vehicle exposing himself, police said. The man allegedly then made eye contact with the students and attempted to lure them to his vehicle, police said.

Incidents were reported at the following locations:

1300-block of E. 47th Street around 7:40 a.m. on Sept. 25

1000-block of E. 47th Street around 9:40 a.m. on Oct. 27

The alleged suspect is described as an African American man between 20 and 30-years-old around 5-foot-11 weighing 180 pounds.
