Man fatally shot in the head in South Shore

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man has died after being shot in the head in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood, police say. He was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, but did not survive.

The shooting took place at East 75th Street and South Coles Avenue, according to police. Police have not released any details about the victim or any suspected shooters. An investigation is underway.
