Man shot at Portage Park gas station

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at a gas station on the 6300 block of West Montrose in the Portage Park neighborhood.

Police say that two men walked into the gas station and got into an altercation with the victim.

According to police, one of the men produced a handgun and shot the victim in the head.

Police say the 23-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene.

No one is in custody.
