Man shot dead in Park Forest home

PARK FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- A man was shot and killed Friday in a south suburban Park Forest home.

Police said they got a call at 5:45 p.m. of shots fired inside a house in the 200-block of Arcadia Street.

When they entered the house, responders found Jason McCullough, 39, unresponsive with one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the shooting occurred after a dispute between people who knew each other.

Police are actively searching for a suspect they believe has left the Park Forest area. Anyone with information is urged to call the Park Forest Police Department 708-748-1309.
