GARY, Ind. -- A man was stabbed to death early Saturday morning in northwest Indiana.
Officers were called about 5:10 a.m. for reports of a stabbing in the 2000 block of West 5th Avenue, according to a statement from Gary police. They arrived to find the 25-year-old man with a stab wound.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead, by the Lake County coroner's office, police said.
