Metra MD-N trains delayed due to pedestrian incident involving Amtrak train near Morton Grove

MORTON GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- Inbound and outbound trains are operating 20-25 minutes behind schedule on the Milwaukee District-North Line due to a pedestrian incident involving an Amtrak train, Metra officials said.

Trains were halted in both directions for a time on Monday night, but were moving at restricted speeds through the area as of 9 p.m., officials said. Metra is asking riders to listen to platform announcements for locations of trains.
