Midwest startups receive clean energy grant money

Several Midwest companies are getting a big boost to help create clean energy technology.

Governor Bruce Rauner spoke to the companies sharing $1 million in grant money to develop new ways to produce clean energy.

The Clean Energy Trust hands out the grants. More than 60 startups have gone through the program over the last five years.
