Body of missing motorcyclist found at highway construction site

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The body of Steven Sanchez, 50, of Hoffman Estates, was found off of I-90 near the Jane Byrne Interchange two days after he was reported missing.

Sanchez's family last saw him at the Chicago Air and Water Show on Saturday around 8 p.m. Half an hour later, his motorcycle was found near I-290 and I-94.

Illinois State Police said it appears Sanchez was involved in a one-vehicle accident and the impact sent him into a construction area. His body was found Monday afternoon.
