Netflix is taking on internet service providers.

The video streaming service is asking the FCC to push internet providers like Comcast to end data-limiting plans.

Netflix calls data caps unreasonable and unfair.

The company said the average customer needs 300 gigabytes per month to meet its internet television needs. Netflix is also going after low-data caps offered by cell phone companies.
