Northfield police searching for 'endangered' missing woman

NORTHFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are searching for an "endangered" missing woman who left her north suburban home in the middle of the night.

Ann Marie Escamilla, 47, was last seen by her father leaving her Northfield residence in her car around 2 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Escamilla is described by police as 5'4", 80 lbs., and was last seen wearing a multi-colored dress and sandals. She drives a black 2007 Hyundai Elantra with Florida license plate number "L408HF".

Police said that anyone who encounters Escamilla should not attempt to make direct contact with her. Instead, authorities ask that you call local police or the Northfield Police Department at 847-446-2131.
