NW Ind. high school giving students Breathalyzer tests at games, dances

VALPARAISO, Ind. (WLS) -- A northwest Indiana high school is going an extra step to make sure students are not drinking before or during school events.

Valparaiso High School now administers Breathalyzer tests to students gathered at varsity football and basketball games as well as school dances.

School officials say all students passed when a breathalyzer test was used during a home football game two weeks ago.
