Officials: Pedestrian struck in Hyde Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A pedestrian was struck in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood Friday afternoon, officials said.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at East Hyde Park Boulevard between South Blackstone Avenue and South Harper Avenue. It appears the pedestrian may have been with or riding a bicycle, but the immediate circumstances of the crash were not clear.

Officials have not released the pedestrian's condition or any details about the incident.
