Park Forest police read 'Mean Tweets'
The Park Forest Police Department shared a video showing various officers reading actual tweets about the department.

PARK FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- A south suburban police department is showing they can poke fun at themselves in a new video inspired by Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets."

The Park Forest Police Department shared a video showing various officers reading actual tweets about the department.

At one point in the video, a pair of officers read "Park Forest Police suck. I don't even think they have detectives. They not gonna solve anything," before walking off camera and saying "In that case, we're out of here. Let's retire."

The department said they made the video to show that they "want everyone to be pleased with the services they provide, but also understand that police work is a tough job. It requires tough choices and not everyone is going to be happy all the time. Park Forest Police have to sometimes have thick skin, and a sense of humor."
