Photo released in South Shore attempted robbery

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- Gary police released a photo of a man wanted for questioning in the attempted robbery of a woman at a South Shore train station.

The offender said he had a gun and demanded money from the woman who was walking from the Miller Station in Gary, Ind., on Wednesday night. Police said the woman ran to her car and locked herself inside. The would-be robber ran away, they said.

The photo was taken from surveillance cameras at the train station. Anyone with information should call police.
