WINNETKA, Ill. (WLS) -- Investigators are looking to talk to a Winnetka homeowner after geckos and snakes were found living in filthy conditions.

A reptile rescue says the creatures were crammed inside the home, and some were found dead.

The surviving geckos and snakes were taken to an animal hospital to get treated. Once they're recovered they will be available for adoption. Their owner could face animal cruelty charges.
