Police: 14 businesses broken into in 2 weeks on West, Near West sides

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police said 14 businesses on Chicago's West and Near West sides have been burglarized in the last two weeks.

Police said the incidents happened at the following times and locations:

- 1100 Block of W. Taylor on June 24, 2015 at approximately 9:00PM.

- 2400 Block of W. Chicago on June 20, 2015 at approximately 2:00AM

- 2600 Block of W. Washington on June 19, 2015 at approximately 10:00PM.

- 2500 Block of W. Chicago on June 14, 2015 at approximately 1:00AM

- 1700 Block of W. Grand on June 14, 2015 at approximately 4:30AM

- 1900 Block of W. Chicago on June 13, 2015 at approximately 1:00AM

- 0-100 Block of S. Ashland on June 10, 2015 at approximately 4:00AM

- 1600 Block of W. Ogden on June 09, 2015 at approximately 12:30AM

- 2500 Block of W. Augusta on June 8, 2015 at approximately 11:30PM

- 200 Block of N. Ashland on June 7, 2015 at approximately 9:45PM

- 1900 Block of W. Chicago on June 6, 2015 at approximately 11:00PM

- 900 Block of S. Western on June 06, 2015 at approximately 4:00AM

- 1300 Block of W. Grand on June 6, 2015 at approximately 6:00AM

Each time, the burglar broke in through a window and stole the cash register, police said. All the break-ins happened during the late night and early morning hours.
