4 robberies near University of Chicago campus in past week, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police issued an alert for University of Chicago students and other nearby residents after four robberies were reported near the campus in the past week.

In each case, the robber either displayed a weapon or implied he had one, police said.

Incident times and locations are listed below:

1100 Block of E. 54th St. on Friday, October 31st, 2014 at approximately 12:15 AM.

5400 Block of S. Greenwood Ave. on Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 at approximately 9AM.

5400 Block of S. Blackstone Ave. on Thursday November 6th, 2014 at approximately 1000 PM.

5400 Block of S. Kimbark Ave. on November 07th, 2014 at approximately 10:49 AM.
