Police investigate report of daylight Englewood sex assault

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are investigating a sex assault report in Englewood.

On Thursday sometime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., a 36-year-old woman was parked in her vehicle near 71st Street near Racine when a man approached her vehicle and displayed a handgun, police said. The offender got in the victim's vehicle and forced her to drive to a nearby alley where she was sexually assaulted and robbed, police said.

The attacker was described as black, 25-26 years old, 5'9"-5'10", 150 lbs., with brown eyes and a dark complexion. He was described as wearing a red hoodie and dark blue jeans.
