Police release surveillance images of suspect in Red Line sex assault

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police have released surveillance images in hopes of tracking down a man wanted in a sexual assault near the CTA Red Line.

Police say the man in the surveillance photos followed a 31-year-old woman as she left the Red Line Harrison station just after 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

While walking along the 600-block of South Plymouth Court, police say he hit the woman and assaulted her, then took off with her purse. If you recognize the man in the images, call Chicago police.
