Police warn of armed robberies in Hyde Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three separate robberies have prompted police to warn Hyde Park residents to be extra aware of their surroundings.

The robberies have happened within blocks of each other on 52nd, 54th and Hyde Park Boulevard, all during the evening hours between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Victims tell police the robber shows a gun and then takes their property before running away. So far, no injuries have been reported.
