Police warn of daylight robberies in Jefferson Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning residents on Chicago's Northwest Side after a series of recent robberies, most of them in broad daylight.

Five robberies happened in the Jefferson Park neighborhood between December 19 and December 29, according to police. In each case, one or two men attack their victims from behind.

The incident time and locations are:

6000 block of W. School on December 19th, 2015 at 11:10 am.

5400 block of W. Montrose on December 22th, 2015 at 5:20 pm.

5400 block of W. Berteau on December 27th, 2015 at 12:50 pm.

5600 block of W. Gunnison on December 27th, 2015 at 1:10 pm.

3300 block of N. Long on December 29th, 2015 at 6:40 am.

There were no reports of weapons being used in the attacks.
