3 killed in plane crash
Three people were killed when a small plane crashed in southwest suburban Palos Hills late Sunday night.

PALOS HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- A preliminary report by the NTSB says the small plane that crashed in suburban Palos Hills on Oct. 12 hit the ground in a nosedive, minutes after taking off from Midway Airport.

The pilot and two passengers, all doctors from Kansas, were killed.

The cause of the crash and the plane's nosedive is still under investigation.
