CHICAGO (WLS) -- Protesters called for an end to gun violence at a vigil after football coach Alexander Villafane was killed last week.

Police said Villafane was shot in the head while standing on the 3500-block of West 24th Street after someone in a minivan opened fire. Protesters are calling for more blue light cameras to be installed in the Little Village neighborhood.

Villafane coached a youth football team in Humboldt park. Police are still looking for the shooter.
