The Independent Police Review Authority released radio transmissions of the frantic moments just after a Chicago police officer was shot earlier this summer.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Independent Police Review Authority released radio transmissions of the frantic moments just after a Chicago police officer was shot earlier this summer near Soldier Field.

On July 21, police said 50-year-old Derek Love pulled a gun on two officers near 18th and Calumet. One of the officers was shot and survived. Love was shot by officers and killed.
