CHICAGO (WLS) -- Federal investigators are looking into a hack attack on the retirement accounts of Chicago city employees.

They said $2.6 million were taken from the accounts of 58 city employees.

Officials say the money was stolen through a series of fake loans.

The private company that runs the accounts has refunded the money while they try to find those responsible.
