ROUND LAKE, Ill. (WLS) -- A Round Lake man is a million dollars richer after matching the first five numbers on his Mega Millions lottery ticket in the May 10 drawing.

Jameson Fuller, a landscape designer, was at work when his wife sent him a text message saying that an area store had sold a $1 million ticket. After checking the winning numbers online, Fuller then called his wife and told her that they won $1 million.

"I finished my work day but it certainly was hard to concentrate," Fuller said.

He bought the winning ticket at the Circle K at 1991 West Maple Avenue in Mundelein, where he is a regular customer. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Fuller says he plays the lottery three to four times a month and plans on using his winnings to invest for retirement.

"I also plan to treat my parents to some nice things, starting with a new car," he said.

The winning numbers were: 12, 22, 46, 56, 74 and Mega Ball 4.
