Shots fired in Evanston confrontation between offender, police

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- One person was in custody Tuesday afternoon after allegedly pulling a gun at police in north suburban Evanston, police said.

The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. in the 1300-block of Asbury.

The man pulled the gun on police officer, police said. Shots were fired, but it was not immediately clear who fired.

No one was injured in the shooting.
