Stalking charges filed against Larry Herbst, former school district president

RIVERSIDE, Ill. (WLS) -- Stalking charges have been filed against the former president of the Riverside-Brookfield School District.

Police say 63-year-old Larry Herbst stalked a 29-year old Lyons woman for months.

Officers say Herbst would watch the woman through a pair of binoculars as she got off the train in Riverside.

Herbst and the victim did not know each other.
