Steel workers strike outside Sloan Valve in Franklin Park

FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- About 400 steel workers are on the picket lines outside Sloan Valve in Franklin Park.

Members of the Steelworkers Union Local 7999 are striking over health insurance and overtime pay in the western suburb.

Sloan is a leading maker of valves in the automatic sensor for sinks and toilets.

Company officials have not returned ABC 7 Chicago's calls for comment.
