Student from Glenview accused of causing $2,500 in damage at University of Alabama

A University of Alabama student from north suburban Glenview is in trouble for allegedly going on a destructive rampage at his school.

Kacper Gozdecki is accused of breaking into UA's Ferguson Center on Sunday and causing $2,500 dollars in damage.

Police say they responded to an alarm there and found the freshman business major with a pipe in his hand.

Gozdecki reportedly admitted to smashing glass doors and computers and trying to steal cash from a safe.
