SUV involved in fatal Rogers Park hit-and-run crash found

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police found the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 63-year-old woman in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.

Cynthia Goldsher was crossing West Howard Street near North Western Avenue around 6:50 p.m. on Oct. 4 when police said a silver 2002 Ford Explorer struck her.

Investigators said the driver didn't stop. Goldsher died of her injuries two days later.

Police said Friday that the SUV was recovered. But they're still looking for the driver.
