Taco Bell investigating reports of employees taunting police officer with pig noises

BAKERSFIELD, CA -- A woman says she heard Taco Bell employees make "oink, oink" sounds and then laughed at a police officer in the drive thru.

In a Facebook post, she states that a Bakersfield Police Officer was heading home from work last night when he stopped at Taco Bell, but then the employee's started making pig sounds over the drive through speaker. The officer then left without eating his food.

KERO reports that Taco Bell's corporate office says they are investigating the incident and released this statement.

"Taco Bell does not tolerate discrimination in any way. We are deeply appreciative of the men and women who have taken the oath to serve and protect our communities. We have launched an investigation into this matter and will be taking appropriate action. We have also reached out directly to the Bakersfield Police Department."
