Teen shot in Logan Square, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood Tuesday night.

Police said the teen was standing on Lawndale Avenue near West Wrightwood Avenue when someone walked up and shot him in the neck around 9 p.m.

He was transported to Comer Children's Hospital, where his condition stabilized.

Sources said he is a gang member.
